I seem to hear a lot about self esteem. Sports stop keeping score, teachers don't give F's, parents don't use the word "No" to their kids. All because we're terrified of hurting their prescious self-steem.
But what if self esteem isn't something to be valued? What if all we do is instill an unheathy self image that is not based in reality?
Maybe we need to flip it over and turn this whole idea of self esteem on its head.
