Can the Bible be Taken Literally?

At the "On the Spot" Q&A, a student in attendance asked if the bible ca be taken literally, even when it describes rather fantastic events. The responses from our panelists (Jeff Wyers, Jeff Bradburn, and myself) clearly show that the bible is the true, revealed Word of God.
