Many people often question the validity and the reliability of what we call The Bible. Orthodox protestant Christianity holds to the idea that the bible is the inspired Word of God and as such can be relied on as truth directly from God Himself.
There are a handful of books in dispute as to whether they are or are not trustworthy scripture. These are referred to as the apocrypha. Protestant denominations typically hold that these books may have historical or intellectual merit but are not considered to be inspired by God and are not included in what we call The Bible. Our panelists try to clear up some of the confusion that often surround this issue.
